Gilles Delisle is a Montreal based passionate and dedicated photographer. He is well known for his nature photography as he has been a contributing editor to Photo-SélectionPhoto-Digest and Photo-Life, writing a popular column on nature photography for 20 years.

Gilles has been teaching nature photography at Dawson College and for years through his own workshops, locally, around the province of Québec and in Canada as far Whitehorse, Yukon. For the last 30 years his nature photography has been published in a host of projects and publications. In 1998 he won both an Honorable Mention in the Wildlife category and First Prize in the Plant Life category in Nature's Best prestigious international nature photo contest.  Gilles is a keen naturalist with a Master's degree from the University of Alberta and a passion for ecology. Lately, profiles on his nature photography have been featured in Photo-News and Outdoor Photography Canada.

Gilles also has a vast experience in Architectural and Interior photography. Economy related photography, including industrial, construction and people in their working environment is also an important part of Gilles's photography whose experience is unique with over 9 years as the main photographer with Les Affaires, the leading business paper in Québec.

Gilles' great interest for architectural photography was initiated while travelling and grew over time. Now, he could not imagine visiting a city without planning some architectural visit and some time for photography. He brings this vast experience and same passion to local projects, whatever their size or the reputation of the architect.

The open edition represent an opportunity to acquire one of Gilles' photograph at a modest cost to offer as a gift or simply to enjoy. Two sizes, namely 8x12 and 12x18 are available in open edition. Images from the BOUTIQUE section as well as most of those 50 photographs from the NATURE section are available in open edition. Photographs are printed with great care on Hahnemühle PhotoRag 308 and each one is signed by Gilles.

Photographs included in the BOUTIQUE section are available in limited edition prints of 100 per size, starting at 16 x 24. Each photograph is printed on Hahnemühle PhotoRag 308 with the industry's highest standards by a pro with more than 25 years of experience. It is subsequently inspected, numbered and signed. A certificate of authenticity is supplied with the limited-edition print and contains the title of the photograph, the name of the photographic subject, the location where the photograph was taken, the shooting date, the photo equipment used, the print production date, the name of the printing technician, the type of printer , the type of paper, the print number (ex 4/100), the photographer's name, its signature, the publication history of the picture and anecdote (if pertinent).

This magnificent product is resistant, affordable and of no interest to thieves which make it an ideal choice for public spaces. It is pre-glued and relatively easy to install. It may also be removed after quite some time and reinstalled in a different location. This makes it a great choice for temporary projects. It is available from 8x12 to 40x60 including intermediate sizes. We suggest and offer installation services for larger size FAB-TAK prints. Sample of this product are available upon request.

Please note that FAB-TAK prints exceeding 40x60 can be done with some images with impressive results as we do occasionally. Please contact us if this is what you need.

With its canvas like texture and wooden frame, this kind of printing reminds us of paintings and is beautifully suitable for a lot of images. This approach which practically eliminates the need for framing, not only saves on cost but brings the full attention onto the photograph. As for the FAB-TAK, CANVAS prints are available from 8x12 to 40x60 including intermediate sizes. To reduce costs CANVAS prints can be shipped without wooden frames. We have a list of different suppliers outside of Montreal that can mount a CANVAS print on a wooden mount. Please enquire.
